Playgroup

Our playgroups are for families from our church and the community, providing a welcoming space for adults and children to connect, build relationships and have loads of fun together through puzzles, toys, craft, painting, playdough, sandpits, outdoor play and plenty more.

Families attend one session each week, with sessions available Monday to Friday during Victorian school terms, either 9.30–11am or 11.15am–1pm.

Playgroup is one of the ways Berwick Church of Christ serves our community, with each group run by volunteers from our church.

To get involved with your child or find out more, please visit our webpage and complete the expression of interest form. We’ve run playgroups for 30+ years and we would love to find you a group and help you to step into our community!

Kids

Kids Church is a fun, safe and welcoming place for children aged 2 years through to grade 6. Every Sunday during the school term, kids participate in age-appropriate activities, games, worship and Bible teaching as they learn about Jesus, grow in their faith and live out his purpose for their lives with confidence.

Our heart is for every child to take their next step in their relationship with Jesus so that they can be His presence in every place.

Check out our latest teaching videos, faith conversation starters and discipleship suggestions on the Heart Church Parents App, which you can download below!

Boys Brigade

Boys’ Brigade is a community that supports boys and young men in their Christian growth, physical development and leadership. We equip them with practical life skills and opportunities to grow in confidence.

We meet on Monday nights during the school term at Berwick Church of Christ. This program is open to boys from Grade 1 through to 18 years old, with groups tailored to three different age ranges.

Youth

Young people don't have to wait until they're "grown up" to live with courage and purpose. Each week, teens step in to know God more, step up as they discover and use their own gifts, and step out to make a real difference in the lives of people around them.

Fuse is open to teenagers in Years 7–12 (Year 6s joining from the end of Term 3), meeting every Friday night during the school term, 7–9:30pm.

Fuse is a place where young people are known, where their questions are welcomed, and where they're genuinely helped to grow in who they are and who they're becoming.

Join us this Friday!

Young Adults

RISE is a space for Young Adults who want to build genuine community, explore their faith and grow in following Jesus.

We gather throughout the month for life groups, worship services and other opportunities to grow in our walk with Jesus. We believe that Young Adults aren’t just the future, but also the present of the Church. We want to see young people boldly stepping out in faith, carrying his presence everywhere they go.

Seniors

The Friendship Group creates a welcoming space for seniors to connect, build friendships and enjoy meaningful time together. Gatherings include guest speakers, conversation, fellowship and plenty of opportunities to share life with others.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 1:30pm in the Connect Lounge. Everyone is welcome to come along and be part of the group.
