As we come to the end of the Transformed Campaign I am so thankful for the transformation that I have seen in the lives of our people! It is almost unthinkable that it has been 50 days since we started the campaign and I am still excited about the future fruit it will bear in the lives of those who have engaged on this journey. This world needs more than just nominal Christians: it needs transformed lives that expresses the reality of being His presence in every place. I am reminded by the words of Jesus:
You are the light of the world like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights up a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way let your good deeds shine out for all to see so that everyone will praise your heavenly father.
Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT)
This coming Sunday we will celebrate some of the testimonies brought about by this campaign. We will also give some clarity on way forward for us as a movement. In a world being pushed around by many “agendas” it is so crucial to understand what God is busy doing and how we can join His purposes. We will discuss on Sunday how our unique calling as a church will express itself in the next few months. It is indeed a very exciting time that lies ahead, and I would like you to invite friends and family to come and listen to what we believe God will be doing in the next season. There will also be something to eat and drink. If at all possible, join us onsite to not just be inspired, but to celebrate and connect with one another.

Fasting for an Easter breakthrough!
As the pastors waited on the Holy Spirit's guidance in this season we became convinced of the need for our people to have a fresh encounter with God this Easter. We have 'rebuilt' foundational convictions through the Transformed Campaign over the past 50 days. We truly believe we are now ready to leap by faith into our next season - a season where the power of the Gospel is experienced in and through our people. It is with this in mind that I would like to invite you to join us by fasting and praying for 24 hours in the run-up to Easter Weekend (please advise your physician if it is safe in the light of your medical conditions). Do not forget to invite your unsaved contacts to these services.

Floods in NSW
While enjoying a coffee and donut on Sunday we invite you to explore our newly renovated next generation space. Formally known as the fun factory when it was our kids church building prior to the FLC being completed in 2010 and now it’s got a new life. The Shed is designed to serve the church ministries, in particular the kids and youth ministries. We will be launching an outreach program into the local schools in term 2 enabling us to build relationships with unchurched kids and teens.
Also remember to check out our renovated Living Springs Counselling Centre, it is an exceptional space and an incredible improvement, we are proud of these spaces and confident in the work of Holy Spirit in these spaces to transform hearts and lives.
Few things strike fear into the heart like natural disasters. Two immediate questions I got was: "Is this part of the end times?" and "Is this God's judgement?" These are two valid questions that can be dealt with later. Our immediate response should however be directed by the same three questions raised by the Christians in the book of Acts during the famine as prophesied by Agabus (See Acts 11:27-30):
- What is the need?
- What can we do?
- Should we send someone?
In the Acts incident the answers were: Financial help was the need, a special 'collection' was what could be done, and Barnabas and Paul were sent to help.
Pray with us as we discern on these three levels whether BCOC's involvement is needed. The one immediate need we can address is prayer-support. Let's not be sparse in our prayers for all affected by these floods!
Transformed campaign highlights
The church (that’s you!) is definitely looking more transformed compared to when we first started. So far, we've had 7 new life groups start, more than 50 additional people join the campaign, heard amazing testimonies and had meaningful messages and services. We've also planned a big Vision Sunday this weekend to bookend the campaign which will include food, fun, fellowship and baptisms. I look forward to seeing you there.
Some of you have only committed to the campaign but I would encourage you to continue the habit of (1) being in a life group where you can fellowship, pray and learn and (2) spending time with God and journaling by using www.rightnowmedia.org
(search for "devotional") or another trustworthy devotion site/app liked odb.org
. The more we spend time with God and each other, the more we get to know our Creator and fulfil His dream and purpose for our lives.
Please reach out to the life groups
team at [email protected]
if we can help in any way. Let’s continue to be transformed together!
Fun at Fuse Youth camp
Last weekend Fuse youth went to CYC The Island and had an incredible time away! We looked at what it meant to fully surrender our status, sin and self to God. Along with a weekend of tribal wars, giant swing and pranks, we also saw God move in incredible ways.
Saturday night was a night of worship and ministry where youth received freedom, revelations and a filling of the Holy Spirit. It is with great excitement, 11 individuals who came on camp have made the decision to be baptised, most which you will see this coming Sunday! Thank you for your prayers over our young people and this camp. Lives really were changed.

Good Friday and Easter Sunday services booking
We may be familiar with the Easter Story, but what if this Easter you and your guests could personally experience, it’s message and power!
Good Friday includes an interview with Michael Karitsis and a special communion focus, finishing with Hot Cross buns after the service.
Easter Sunday includes a separate Children’s program, a message and demonstration of God’s resurrection power, and opportunity for salvations, baptisms, healing, deliverance, and what could be your next step with God. Again, stay afterwards for a sausage sizzle while the kids have fun on the jumping castles and other activities.
